The same kit, much less per month.

What one shop with five chairs pays to get everything ClipBook includes: reviews, loyalty, marketing, autofill, stock and reporting. Some rivals bundle it into a higher tier, some sell it as extras — either way it costs more.

Where these numbers come from
ClipBook

£30 flat for a Shop account, whatever the chair count. All six kit items included.

Booksy

£40 a month plus £5 per extra team member. Booksy puts every feature in the core subscription, with no higher tiers and nothing to add on for the kit.

Squire

UK tiers are published in pounds, flat per shop. Waitlist starts on Pro, marketing and review prompts on Executive, loyalty and stock tracking on Titan. Titan at £90 is the cheapest tier covering the whole kit.

Nearcut

£67.50 for one location with five barbers, from their calculator. Then five Business Boosters: autofill £5.13, Google review optimisation £7.50, email and SMS marketing £5.75, loyalty cards £10, product sales and stock £7.50.

Fresha

Team plan at £9.95 per bookable member. Waitlists, reviews, retail, reporting and marketing are already included; Client Loyalty at £49.95 and Google Rating Boost at £12.95 are not.

Timely

Build at £22 per staff covers reminders and stock levels but not loyalty, campaigns or waitlist. Elevate at £28 per staff is the cheapest tier covering the kit: £140 for five chairs.

One shop, five bookable staff, UK list prices ex VAT, checked 16 August 2026. Each total is the base subscription plus whatever that platform charges extra to reach the same kit: Google review prompting, digital loyalty, email and SMS campaigns, autofill waitlist, product sales and stock, and reporting. Where a feature is tier-gated rather than sold separately, we count the cheapest tier that covers it and do not deduct anything else that tier happens to bundle. Card processing, marketplace commission, message send costs and hardware are excluded for every platform, ClipBook included. Prices change — re-check before relying on this.

We price for the shop, not the boardroom.

Most booking software is built to take a slice of every cut: a fee here, a commission there, a price that climbs as your team grows. We went the other way.

Flat pricing, no booking fees, no marketplace commission, no paid add-ons. Adding a fourth chair should be good news for you, not an invoice from us.

What a five-chair shop actually pays.

What shops ask first.

Is it really cheaper than the others?

For a shop, yes, and the chart above shows the working rather than asking you to take our word for it. Independent accounts are £15 and Shop accounts £30. Others add per-staff charges, booking fees, marketplace commission or paid add-ons.

What happens when I add a fourth chair?

Nothing. The Shop plan covers unlimited staff and chairs for now, so growing the team does not grow the bill.

Are there any booking fees?

None, on either plan. No fee to your client, no commission to you. What's booked is yours.

Is there a free trial?

Thirty days, and no card to start. Add one from your dashboard when you are ready; the calendar pauses if the trial ends without one.

How do SMS reminders work?

Reminders are built in, not a paid add-on tier you unlock. Texts are charged at 5p a message, like every platform meters its messaging, and email costs nothing.

What if I move from solo to a shop?

The account moves from £15 to £30 a month. Your bookings, clients and reminders stay exactly where they are.

Keep more of every cut.
